Be Active Football Academy
Welcome to Be Active Football Academy, we are Peterborough's leading football training academy established in March 2022.
Our mission is to provide opportunities to children of all ages, whether they are beginners or experienced in football. We value all skill levels and welcome diversity of all ethnicities or genders. we aim to provide an inclusive community encouraging every child to grow and develop on or off the pitch.
We first competed with our under 11 team in the 2023/2024 season, marking the foundation for the academies history with this proud milestone.
Through dedication and nurturing the under 11 team, we were able to introduce an under 8 and under 12 team in the 2024/2025 season, growing the academy to 3 competitive teams. We do not only show pride in the development of our competitive teams but also children who wish to learn and have fun, but not compete.
We are committed to utilising the best of training facilities to help academy players develop and gain inspiration especially through using Peterborough United's training ground where it is used by the first team, women's team, and academy players. Our other facilities include Thomas Deacon Academy and Vivacity. Not only are facilities important to us, but we also use cutting-edge technology to aid progression and development, as well as enhance our training programs. These include Veo cameras, STATSports, ball launchers, and the Heja app that improve our learning environment.
Through our utilisation of facilities and usage of technological equipment, this also enhances our philosophy of providing quality training in football. Each week we provide three hour training sessions for each group, valuing a players attention to their development and practice that is required to hone their skills, and more importantly, feeding their deep love of football and their passion to play. Join us on this exciting journey as we continue to grow our community, inspire more children and shape the future of football.

In our first season, we joined the league with our U11 team, which showed tremendous passion and determination that elevated the team in achieving the second round of the League Cup. The following season, we entered the league with 3 teams of different age groups.
